Mirrors can play a very good decorative role, make the room brighter and make the small room appear bigger. There are many shapes and sizes of mirrors hanging on the wall, so before buying, you must carefully consider where the mirrors should be hung. Since the glass is fragile and you need to prepare enough space to hang the mirror on the wall, you must also make sure that you have all the necessary tools before you start.

1: Hang the mirror with hook

A, Determine what type of wall is. There are many types of walls, such as plaster, stucco and masonry. Very heavy mirrors need to be fixed on a solid wall like a masonry wall. The wall material also determines how big screws and expansion bolts need to be used

B. Weigh the mirror. Make sure you know the weight of the mirror. This will help you choose the right size hook. The load-bearing capacity of the hook is limited. If this weight is exceeded, the mirror will fall off the wall and break and the wall will be damaged. The scale should be able to accurately weigh the mirror

C. Find a place to hang the mirror. Make sure there is enough space on the wall to hang the mirror, otherwise you have to consider its relative position to other objects on the wall and in the room. Lift the mirror to the wall and see how much area it will occupy. Finding where the keel of the wall is may be more secure, but as long as the hook is strong enough, it may not matter if you don't find it.

-----After finding a suitable location, use a pencil or masking tape to mark the position of the top of the mirror so that you can measure the position of the hook. You can also use a pencil mark and a spirit level to ensure that the mirror is level.

-----If the mirror is too large, it is difficult for you to lift it up while making marks. Use a tape measure or yardstick to measure it to see if the size is appropriate.

D,Measure where on the wall the hook should be fixed. There should be something that can be hung behind the mirror, either a wire or a D-ring. In either case, you should mark the position of the hook, not the position of the screw. The mirror will not hang on the screws.

-----If the wall behind the mirror is made of iron wire, the mirror may be relatively small and you only need to punch a hole. Measure the width of the mirror and mark the midpoint of that line. Lift up the iron wire of the mirror, tighten it from the middle, and measure the distance from the top of the iron wire to the frame. Then, mark the measurement result on the wall so you know where the hook should be installed.

-----If it is a D-ring, they will be fixed to the mirror and cannot be moved. Measure the distance between the fasteners and their distance to the top of the mirror. After the measurement, make a mark based on the measurement result and the pencil line marked before.

E. Drill holes in the wall and install hooks. If the screw is nailed to the keel, it should be able to bear the weight of the mirror without additional support. If it is not on the keel, you may have to use wall expansion bolts to fix the hook

F.Stick an anti-collision sticker on the back of the mirror. They are small dots made of rubber or plastic that help prevent the mirror from tilting or leaving marks on the wall. The hardware store or handicraft store should have bumper stickers for sale

G. Hang a mirror. Align the D-ring or wire with the appropriate hook, and hang the mirror. If the mirror is too heavy or too big for you to lift it easily, ask someone else to help. You may also need another person to look at the back of the mirror and make sure that the wire or D-ring is hung on the hook. If the mirror is large and your vision is blocked when you lift it, you should ask someone to help.

H.Clean the mirror surface. After the mirror is hung, polish or wipe it clean to make the mirror surface clean and the image clear. Now you can enjoy the mirror on the wall

Pls kindly note the other type mirro is similar method.
